Meet Fred, an adorable senior who is looking for a family to love and cuddle him. Fred is 11 years old and weighs 27 pounds. Fred's previous owner had him for 8 years and sadly had to surrender him as she was moving to a retirement home. According to her, Fred is the sweetest dog in the world and would do very well in a quiet home. He still enjoys going for walks every day, but he is a very calm dog for the most part. Fred's favorite activity is sitting on someone's lap and getting pets. Fred does well with other dogs and cats and tends to be a bit more submissive. He does well with kids that are old enough to respect his space but probably would not do well with young children or very active homes. He will need to be taken to grooming appointments regularly to avoid getting mats. Fred is already neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. An adoption fee of $100 will cover the cost of his care.
