Madison is a beautiful long-haired Miniature Dachshund who weighs 17 pounds (she probably should be a bit lighter). She was found as a stray with very infected ears and it appears that someone gave her a home haircut as she is shaved close to the skin. We are not sure of her exact age, but we are estimating about 5 years old. She has a spay tattoo on her tummy and we have brought her up to date on the vaccinations we can give. She seems to be a very happy girl in spite of terribly neglected ears. We have taken her to the vet to get checked over and to begin to get her ears back in shape. We don't know her history because she was a stray, but she is very nice to the staff here. She is on a stray hold until 1/24, but if interested, please fill out an application because if she is not claimed she can go home on that day.
