Copper came in to us after being abandoned at our front door in a crate. He was absolutely terrified. Our staff has been providing a nurturing environment here and he is now doing so much better! When he first meets a new person, he will be hesitant, but he is super friendly and happy with our staff here that have been caring for him. He will need a little adjustment time in his new home, but will respond positively when shown love. He was severely underweight when he arrived and is putting on weight since he now has full access to food. He is currently rooming with Ducky who was abandoned in the same crate. Based on his teeth he appears to be only a couple of years old. He has had a very sad start to his life and we believe he deserves better. He currently weighs 23 pounds, but could stand to gain a few more. We would love to have a kind person give Copper his second chance. He has a neuter appointment on 5/9 and can leave the next day. $300.00 adoption.
