Meet Pete! This little dog was sadly found in horrible condition. He was so matted that the vet did not know if Pete was a boy or girl. He had foxtails imbedded in him that had to be removed under sedation. A kind person rescued him from the streets, took care of all his needs and got him neutered, vaccinated and microchipped! He did stay with his rescuer for a bit under a week and he did fine with the other small to medium sized dogs in the home with him. Despite his experience, he still is a very sweet dog that will enjoy love and cuddles with just a bit of time and gentleness. The vet believes Pete to be about 2 years of age and he currently weighs 24 pounds. He does look to be a Lhasa Apso. Once his coat grows out he will need regular grooming so he will never have to suffer like he did before. $250.00 adoption.
