Meet Chewy! At just 7 to 8 months old and weighing a compact 12 pounds, this little guy is the ultimate pocket-sized companion. He has soft, curly hair but still sheds normally, so we think he might be some type of terrier/poodle mix. We don't have a DNA test, so we're not completely sure about the breed, but we do know Chewy made up of happiness, affection, and love! He has a wonderful, friendly disposition and gets along great with other dogs. He also rides well in the car if you want to bring him on an adventure!
More good news is that he has a solid foundation of housetraining already. He has already mastered using a dog door and is used to being left alone while his people go to work, so he'd be a low-maintenance pup. His family should continue his training so he grows into a well-mannered pup.
Chewy comes microchipped, up-to-date on his vaccinations, and will be neutered (6/18) before leaving the shelter. Chewy had a bit of a limp when he first came in, so a vet did x-rays and found he was born with a slightly shorter rear leg, but gave him a clean bill of health! His adoption fee is $350.
