Meet Delilah! This beautiful 39 lb Queensland Heeler mix spent several months as a stray, but she’s officially ready to trade her wandering days for a cozy dog bed and a family of her own. Based on the condition of her teeth, our team estimates she’s around 2 years old.
Delilah is a social girl who has a history of getting along well with other canine pals. She made great friends with a Labrador when she was spending time with a foster, and loved having her as a playmate! While she does great with larger dogs, we haven't tested her around small breeds yet. Like a true Heeler, Delilah seems to have a sharp focus and that classic herding/prey drive. When she sees cats, she can't help but to focus and bark at them, so she will do best in a cat-free home or with an experienced adopter who understands working-dog instincts.
Delilah is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and she will be spayed before she leaves the shelter to her new home. Apply today at www.petsnpals.org if interested in meeting her! $350 adoption fee.
