Say hello to Bambi, a 1-year-old Chihuahua mix! We don't know his complete breed mix, but his body type looks exactly like a Basenji -who knows! Weighing in at 16 pounds, Bambi is a sweet and sensitive pup who’s looking for a forever home after his previous family had to give him up due to housing restrictions. We were told Bambi gets along wonderfully with other small dogs and is gentle with children of all ages in his previous home. He’s still working on his potty training, but with consistency and positive reinforcement, he’s sure to get the hang of it. His previous owner noted that Bambi rides calmly in the car. He is scheduled to be neutered on 6/17 and can leave any time after that date. With some patience and love, he could be a wonderful companion for someone. He seems to not enjoy the shelter environment at all, so we hope someone can take him away from here soon so he can start to blossom back to his old, happy self. Treats seem to be a way to his heart! An adoption fee of $350.00 will cover the cost of his neuter, vaccinations and microchip.
