Mojo is a 47-pound, 3-year-old Standard Poodle. He came from a home where he lived outdoors with 2 other dogs and was never allowed inside. Due to his outside living, his coat had become quite matted and dirty, so a bath and haircut were top priorities for this handsome boy. He is underweight and probably needs to gain about 15-20 pounds. The second picture has been updated after his grooming, showing that he needed to be stripped. He will need to go to someone familiar with grooming and the costs associated with that. Due to his outdoor living, he has not been potty-trained, but Poodles are extremely smart, and he will catch on very quickly for someone with the time to train him. He has lived with other dogs, so we believe he will do well in a home with dogs and children as well. We do not know if he would chase cats, although the prior owner never saw him chase cats in the yard. Mojo is a lovely dog who deserves a life where he can be inside with his family and stay warm and dry for the winter. He has a neuter appointment on 11/18, and can leave the following day. $400.00 will help us with the extra costs of his care.
