Dodger is handsome dog, looking for a place to call home. He was found as a stray in French Camp a few days before the 4th of July, and as far as we can tell, he appears to be a pure Black Lab. He is all smiles when meeting new people and he absolutely loves to play! We think he is around 6-8 months based on his size, so he will likely get a little bigger than he is now. According to the people who found him, he does appear to be potty trained already since he always waited by the door and never had an accident in the house. He seems to play well with other dogs that can handle his energy, but has not yet been tested around cats. Dodger is a typical young lab, so he will do best with a family that can provide daily exercise. He also does just fine riding in the car (though he may try to sit in the front seat if he isn't on a leash). Dodger will be on a stray hold until 7/15 to give his owners a chance to claim him if they are looking. He is scheduled to be neutered on 7/23, so he will be able to go home after that date.
