Meet Arty, a charming 2-3 year old Maltese/Poodle mix! He is a small guy weighing in at 17 pounds. This fluffy fellow was found as a stray and spent a couple of weeks with a kind finder who discovered his gentle nature. They did their best to cut out his matting, but a professional groomer can surely make him even more handsome. Due to his breed mixture, his new owners will need to ensure he goes to the groomer regularly to prevent any further matting, but he is not guaranteed to be hypoallergenic - he is a mix! The family he was with temporarily noted that Arty gets along wonderfully with kids 3 and up, and enjoys the company of other dogs. While his housetraining status is a bit of a mystery, they also believed he's a quick learner and understands the basics. Arty is eager to find his forever home and will leave the shelter neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, ready to bring joy and cuddles to your life. His adoption fee of $350.00 includes those costs. He will be able to leave the shelter as soon as April 10th.
