Sweet as her name, meet Honey! This gorgeous girl is looking for her forever family. With a stunning honey-colored coat, Honey is believed to be a delightful mix of long-haired German Shepherd and Chow Chow, but her full breed mix is unknown. Estimated to be between 4-6 months old, this big girl already weighs in at a sturdy 42 pounds, suggesting she's going to be a substantial and beautiful adult dog. She was picked up as a stray, so we will be putting her on a hold to let an owner claim her, but once her stay hold is up and she is spayed, she will be able to go to her new home as early as 5/21. Applications will be accepted in the meantime. She has shown a wonderful temperament, getting along well with children and other dogs. Surprisingly, she's even been calm around chickens, hinting at a gentle and adaptable nature. Honey is a smart and attentive pup, eager to please, though she is still waiting for her formal training to begin. Honey will come to you already spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped.
