Mr. Louie was born around 12/2022 and is a cute little Long-Haired Chihuahua. He only weighs 8 pounds, very portable! Louie is a shy guy and takes time to warm up but does not have any aggressiveness at all. He is very submissive. Once he warms up we believe he will be such a good boy. He lived with his previous owners in a home since he was born, but owners had too many dogs to care for, so we are helping find a new place for Louie to live. He is an excellent playmate if you have another small dog or dogs that are looking for a buddy. Louie would really thrive in a home with other dogs, rather than being an only child as he blossoms in a group. He has not lived with a cat, so not sure what his reaction would be. We are told that Louie is extremely athletic and fast when he runs, so he would really enjoy living somewhere where he can have fun and play. We have given Louie his shots, microchipped, and neutered him. $250.00 adoption helps with the cost of care given to him here at the shelter.
