Say hello to Rex, a cheerful 2-year-old (born 3/20/2023) Labradoodle with a curly coat, a joyful bounce, and an infectious enthusiasm for life! Weighing in at 64 pounds, this handsome boy is full of love, energy, and charm. Rex came to us after his previous family had a change in home life that made it difficult to give a dog of his energy level the attention he deserves. While they were heartbroken to say goodbye, they made sure we knew what a special boy he is—and we couldn't agree more! This playful pup loves meeting new people, soaking up attention, and going for rides in the car (windows down, please!). Rex has shown signs that he'd be wonderful with children, as his "person" was a 7-year-old boy. He may be a bit boisterous for some young ones, though! According to his family, his favorite things include going for runs, playing fetch, and chewing on his chew toys. The owner reported that he reliably waits to be let out to go potty, but much of his time was spent outside. He would benefit from some additional obedience training, as he is quite strong on leash ("We're not going for a walk, we're simply heading to the next exciting scent opportunity!"). He's an affectionate and fun-loving companion who will also keep up with your active lifestyle.
